Conveyancing

Septimus Jones & Lee offers professional conveyancing services for all kinds of property transactions.  Our long experience ranges from assisting private clients with the purchase of their first home or investment property, through acting for builders when subdividing and selling small and medium scale developments, to providing comprehensive service to a national developer in an extensive number of large developments.    We also provide conveyancing services for commercial properties on any scale.

All our conveyancing staff are experienced in their field and are supported by the legal practitioners within the firm.

Private Conveyancing

Septimus Jones & Lee are happy to assist you with your next property transaction, whether you are buying vacant land, a house and land package or an established home, or selling your property.  We can also provide you with professional service for transactions involving commercial property, whether this be as part of a sale or purchase of business, or stand alone.  Private Conveyancing work is performed by Lina Horton, under the direction of Howard Jones.

Lina Horton

Lina Horton has been with Septimus Jones Lee for eight years, and has performed her role as our Private Client Conveyancing Clerk for four years. Lina studied at RMIT Tafe and has a Diploma in Social Science - Justice Studies and an Associate Diploma in Business - Legal Practice. Lina has maintained her skills and knowledge in residential and commercial conveyancing throughout her career through educational facilities such as the Leo Cussen Institute, and has a very personable and professional approach to her work.

Subdivisional Conveyancing

Our subdivisional conveyancing team has been providing comprehensive service to a number of developers, ranging in size from those who may be running one project at any one time, to those who run up to 20 or more estates within Victoria alone at any one time.  Our experience allows us to provide a service which boasts professional customer service for both our clients and their purchasers, convenient provision of information and flexibility.  We pride ourselves on proactive problem solving to provide efficient service for our clients.  The Subdivisional Conveyancing work is performed by the staff listed below, under the direction of the Property and Finance Department headed by Gareth Jones and Elizabeth Linedale.

Ann Monument

Ann joined Septimus Jones and Lee in 2001 and worked briefly with the CIMA team before joining the Property Department in 2002.  Since then she has specialised in the subdivision of large developments and the sale of residential land and medium density properties within these developments.  Dealing with a small number of local and interstate clients on a regular basis she prides herself on building a good on-going working relationship with Joint Venture Partners, Surveyors, Agents, Mortgagees and Caveators, ensuring that projects run as smoothly as possible.   Having practiced as a Law Clerk for over 20 years prior to joining SJL, Ann also has experience in the areas of commercial leasing, general conveyancing, mortgages and a sound understanding of Land Registry and State Revenue Office requirements.

Robyn Nolan

Robyn has 15 years experience in Property Law, the last 10 years specifically in general  and subdivisional conveyancing. Robyn's qualifications include an Advanced Diploma of Business in Legal Practice.  Robyn's legal experience, 'can do' attitude and attention to detail, together with the excellent rapport she enjoys with her clients and their consultants makes her an invaluable member of the Subdivisional Conveyancing Team.
